Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I have to be a member of The Journey Church Community to participate in The Josiah Project?
A: No. We actually don't have formal membership. We just want to serve you and help you Find + Follow God.

Q: Do I have to attend The Journey on Sunday mornings?
A: No, but Sundays are a really important component to The Josiah Project. Pastor Steve and others will give relevant messages connecting the readings with real life. Along with the live band, endless coffee and lunch afterward, you really don’t want to miss it.

Q: If I miss my Journey Group gathering, can I visit another group?
A: Absolutely

Q: If I can’t commit to the full two-year stretch, can I pick and choose which segments I do?
A: Sure. The idea is to read the whole Bible but we’d rather you read parts instead of nothing at all. We do recommend committing to entire segments if possible (i.e. The Torah from September through December.)
